Wil has been a master trainer at The Sporting Club at the Bellevue since 1996. Because of his background and love of running, he has been instrumental in the success of the stride running program at The Sporting Club.
In 2002, the Discovery Channel rated Wil one of Philly’s top personal trainers and chose him as the “Health Cop” on its reality show, Sentenced to Health. With Degrees in Nutrition and Business Administration and a certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), Wil continues to strive for excellence.
His background includes hospital nutrition, private school training with young athletes, working as a track and field coach, and being a strength and conditioning coach for junior ice-skating. He is most proud of recent work with older persons with Osteoporosis. In watching Wil work, you will first notice his caring attentive attitude with his clients. He shows them he believes they are capable of reaching their goals and can often be heard saying “Get up and get busy. Rest is rust.”
